Featured Funeral: George Carlin

Legendary comedian, George Carlin, died on June 22nd, 2008 of heart failure.  A private memorial service, attended by 150 of Carlin’s closest friends and family, was held on June 29, 2008.  Carlin’s daughter regarded the funeral as a “very, very light event,” which is what Carlin had wanted.  Several of Carlin’s friends and family spoke at the service and guests also watched video clips that highlighted Carlin’s career.  As requested, George Carlin was cremated.
